Information You Provide Directly

When you book a session or contact us, you may provide:

  • Your name and email address
  • Information about your animal (name, species, age, your questions or concerns)
  • Payment information – processed securely by Stripe (we never see or store your full card number)
Information Collected Automatically

Like most websites, riversheart.org may collect basic technical data when you visit, including your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time spent. This is standard web server and analytics behavior and is used only to understand how the site is being used and to keep it running properly.

02 - How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect solely to:

  • Schedule and deliver your animal communication sessions via Calendly
  • Process payments securely via Stripe
  • Arrange and facilitate your sessions via Gmail and Google Meet
  • Deliver audio recordings of your sessions via Dropbox
  • Respond to your questions or follow-up messages
  • Improve our website and service quality

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to your session and our direct relationship with you.

03 - Third-Party Services

River’s Heart uses the following third-party platforms to operate:

Stripe (Payment Processing)

Stripe processes all payments on our behalf. Your payment card data goes directly to Stripe’s secure servers — we never receive or store it. Stripe is PCI-DSS compliant. You can review Stripe’s privacy practices at stripe.com/privacy.

Calendly (Appointment Scheduling)

Calendly is used to schedule sessions. When you book an appointment, Calendly collects your name, email address, and any information you enter in the booking form. Calendly’s own privacy policy governs that data and can be reviewed at calendly.com/privacy.

Gmail (Management of Session Related Links &   Correspondence)

Gmail is used to process scheduling and informational email content and attachments to deliver messages regarding your sessions. Google’s own privacy policy governs that data and can be reviewed at https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en-US

Google Meet (Facilitation of Live Sessions)

Google Meet is used to facilitate your live session. Links to these video meetings are provided to you via Gmail. Google’s own privacy policy governs that data and can be reviewed at https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en-US

Dropbox (Delivering Audio of Session Recordings)

Dropbox is used to deliver the audio recordings of your sessions. You use the Dropbox link to access your specific session recording which you may then download and keep. Dropbox’s own privacy policy governs that data and can be reviewed at https://www.dropbox.com/privacy.

Beyond use of the above third parties to successfully facilitate and deliver your session content to you, we do not share your information with any other third parties, except as required by law.

04 - We Do Not Sell Your Information

To be unambiguous: River’s Heart does not sell, rent, lease, or otherwise provide your personal information to third parties for commercial purposes. This is not a practice we engage in under any circumstances.

05 - Data Retention

 We retain your information only as long as reasonably necessary — to deliver your session, maintain records for our own bookkeeping, and comply with applicable legal obligations. Scheduling records held by Calendly and transaction records held by Stripe are subject to their respective retention policies.

06 - Cookies

Our website may use basic cookies for functionality and analytics. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. You can configure your browser to refuse cookies, though some site features may not function correctly if you do.

07 - Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access, correct, or request deletion of information we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below. We will respond promptly and in good faith.

08 - Children's Privacy

River’s Heart’s services are not directed to persons under age 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information through our site, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

09 - Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe, which maintains industry-leading security standards. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the Effective Date at the top of this page. Your continued use of riversheart.org after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
