Kind Words From Happy Clients

My Story

My heart has always been deeply connected to animals. I am literally incomplete without animals in my life. I am utterly devoted to my fur family members, and am humbled to have had multiple people tell me that they hope to be reincarnated as one of my pets. My Mustang, River, was a huge catalyst in my animal communication journey. (You can read his story below.) In 2020, just for fun, my daughter and I scheduled a session with an animal communicator. At the time, I wasn’t sure if I believed in it or not, but I was certainly intrigued by the idea. After all, what could possibly be better than being able to talk to the animals? The session was eye-opening, to say the least. Eventually, an opportunity arose to learn this skill myself, and I jumped in with both feet. My life will never be the same. This skill has opened up the world to me in a way I could never have imagined. I’m thrilled to now be able to share that magic with you. It is my absolute honor and privilege to be able to help you deepen your connection with your beloved pets.

I have been doing this work for several years now, and am also trained in Huna-assisted energetic clearings, which clear negative emotions and limiting beliefs, as well as elemental energy work, which utilizes the five elements – earth, air, fire, water, and source- to bring balance and harmony back into the body. My journey into energetic healing processes, as they relate to animal health and well-being, continues. Stay tuned!

River's Story

Although I love all creatures, wild or domestic, on land, air or in water, my particular passion has always been horses. I was obsessed with them basically upon exiting the womb. By the time I reached the age of 13, my parents were concerned that they were causing me psychological damage by NOT getting me a horse, and so at last my dreams became a reality. Eventually, adult life, combined with having to move off of property, resulted in many long years without horses in my life.

At long last, in 2006, my husband and I built a home on acreage. Right after moving in, I had a chance encounter over the fence with our neighbors’ seven Mustangs they’d adopted from the BLM. There was one cautious, lovely horse that I had to coax over to the fence, and when I looked into his eyes, it hit me like a bolt of lightning. This is my horse. Not “I’d love to own this horse,” but “This IS my horse.” We’d just moved in. There was no money left for a horse, let alone a fence, a barn, hay, none of it, so I didn’t say anything to anybody. It was impossible. Not to mention, he wasn’t for sale anyway.

A few months later, I learned about a horse co-op near us where kids could learn to ride in exchange for doing farm chores. It was a great opportunity to show my daughter that horses are tons of fun, but also a lot of work! (Not to mention, I’d get my horse fix as well.) We joined, of course, and spent the next 6 years going to the co-op every week…

What is Animal Communication?

Animal communication is a consensual, two-way telepathic connection between me and your pet. It is NOT mind-reading. I always ask the animal for consent to communicate with them, and if I receive a “no,” which is extremely rare, then I thank them and terminate the connection. This is rarely an issue, as most animals are thrilled for the opportunity to have their voices heard and usually have a great deal to say. Some animals are more reserved than others and slower to trust. In these cases, I always allow the animal to observe other pets in the home during their sessions with me in order to get a feel for the process and/or allow them to ask me questions first to build rapport. Even the shyest pet usually comes around quite quickly.

How Is Animal Communication Beneficial?

Funsies!

Having the opportunity to simply deepen your bond with your pet and get to know them better is a wonderful use of animal communication. I promise, you are already communicating telepathically with your pet everyday. They are masters of this type of communication, and understand WAY more than they are given credit for. I am offering you the chance to hear what your pet has to say to you, and believe me, they do have things to say! They are insightful and wise, funny and intelligent, observers and teachers. You have a soul contract with every pet that comes into your life, for however short or long a time, and they are all here to help you and teach you in some way.

Fostering/Rehoming/
Adoption

Animal communication provides the opportunity to offer the animal a feeling of security and safety in a stressful, unfamiliar situation. It can also help offer insight into the type of forever family the animal both desires to be adopted into or, sometimes even more importantly, not adopted into. This is my favorite type of session other than Rainbow Bridge sessions. Allowing the animal to communicate their idea of a perfect home for themselves can often alleviate any future issues with being returned to the shelter or abandoned. I love playing a small part in them finding their future happiness after a rough beginning. I do require that if we are going to ask for their preferences in this situation, that your intention is to abide by those wishes to the highest degree possible. I do not wish to give them the idea that their desires matter if they can not, or will not, be honored.

End of life

A connection session can be a beautiful way to learn what your pet needs during this phase of life. As they age, you can move forward with confidence knowing you are honoring their wants and needs in regard to navigating difficult end-of-life preparations and decisions. They are often more concerned about you than they are themselves during this time, but often do have final wishes that you can fulfill for them.

Behavioral Issues

Animal communication can be an immensely powerful tool in navigating behavioral issues. Although I cannot guarantee a behavioral change, as animals have their own minds and emotional baggage just as humans do, simply knowing where the behavior is coming from and gaining insights from your pet on ways to improve the situation can be extremely rewarding. Animals are surprisingly solutions oriented, and often come up with incredibly creative options and compromises in these situations. I am not a certified behaviorist or trainer, so please be prepared to follow up with a suitable professional in the event additional support is called for.

Shelters & Sanctuaries

Being able to communicate with an abused, injured, or otherwise traumatized animal and explain what has happened, where they are, and that they are now safe and loved can be invaluable in creating an emotionally and physically healing environment.

Conflict Resolution

Although every situation and animal is different, a communication session can be immensely helpful in discovering the individual perspectives of the animals involved and allow for understanding, grace and compromise. Each animal has the opportunity to have their voice heard and to offer their own thoughts on how a solution may be reached that benefits all parties involved. Again, as with humans, not all situations can be 100% resolved, but more often than not, significant improvement and satisfactory compromise can be achieved.

Vet and Grooming Appointments

It can be a challenge for many pets to remain calm and well-behaved in these types of situations. Their stress and anxiety can get the best of them resulting in injuries to themselves or their human care providers. Animal communication can significantly help by letting the animal know what to expect, that they are safe, and what sort of behavior is appropriate.

Illness/Pain

I can be helpful at giving you an idea where your pet may be feeling discomfort, as well as the degree of pain, if any, that they are currently in. I can also ask your pet how certain medicines may or may not be helping and if the meds are causing any unpleasant side effects. I am not a veterinarian or vet tech, so please be prepared to seek the advice of a licensed medical professional for any medical issue your pet may be experiencing. Animal communication is never a substitute for medical care and I will not be able to address any of these issues with you and your pet unless I am convinced that you are currently receiving or promptly intending to seek professional treatment. The animal’s well being is always my top priority.

Major Life Changes

Marriage, births, moves, deaths, illness, etc. are all situations in which animal communication is beneficial. These major life changes can cause a great deal of stress and both physical and emotional upheaval for pets and their humans. Offering your pet a way to express their concerns and provide them explanations regarding the situation can head off many potentially negative outcomes.

Human-Wildlife Conflict Resolution

It is inevitable that humans and wildlife will come into contact, especially as the human populations encroach on more and more land that was previously inhabited primarily by wildlife. Animals are just doing their best to survive and raise and protect their young, which often brings them into proximity to human dwellings, farms, livestock and pets. Animal communication can be invaluable in offering insight into both sides of a human-wildlife conflict thus helping to reach a solution that doesn’t result in the use of lethal deterrents. Once the perspective of each side can be heard and understood by the other, it is often possible to come to a solution that is acceptable to both, even if that solution is sometimes to steer clear and no harm will come to you. I once made an agreement with nests of yellow jackets and wasps for access to fresh clean water 24/7 in exchange for zero aggression toward the people and animals on the property that is still going strong after 3 years without a single altercation.

Lost Pets

Animal communication can be a helpful tool in locating a lost pet, however there are significant limitations involved. The missing pet is often frightened, confused, and easily startled into motion. Getting them to calm down enough to offer detailed information about how far they have travelled, what their surroundings look like, and what direction they have gone can be difficult, if not impossible. Getting them to stay put long enough to be found can be incredibly challenging, as well. Often they are in survival mode and won’t even come to their owners if they hear or see them, especially cats, who will often refuse to come out of hiding at all. In some less common cases, again typically involving cats, the pet is enjoying their adventure and refuses to come home until they’re good and ready! While I have participated in many lost animal cases, I am not currently offering lost pet services due to the tremendous emotional toll and time commitment involved.

How Do You Receive the Information?

Every animal communicates in their own individual way, however, generally, I personally receive images, words, vignettes (think short videos), sounds, physical sensations, a feeling of knowing, and symbols. Often, two or more of these will come through simultaneously and my mind will translate the information from the animal in whatever way it thinks will make sense to me. Sometimes it can be like receiving pieces of a puzzle when you don’t know what the finished picture is supposed to be. In these cases, the owner can often provide valuable insights to fill in the blanks and complete the picture. It can be a true team effort. Interestingly, due to the telepathic nature of the connection, distance and language are never a barrier. I can communicate with a pet in a non-English speaking foreign country as easily as next door.

Can You Communicate With Any Animal?

,

Yes, I can communicate with any animal! Primarily, I’ve been asked to communicate with cats, dogs, fish, horses, and other various farm animals. However, I’ve also spoken with some less conventional pets, such as a tarantula (she was a delight), parrots, and pythons. Additionally, I’ve connected with a variety of wildlife, including ravens, hawks, and orcas, and in human-wildlife conflict resolution connections, I’ve communicated with yellow jackets, mouse colonies, gophers, and a family of moose.

,

Energetic Clearings

In addition to animal communication, I also offer energy healing work. These are paid standalone sessions, but I offer them free of charge with any paid animal communication session.

This type of energetic healing clears specific stored negative emotions, like fear, anger, and hurt, which can be tied to past trauma, rehoming, big life changes, past life issues, and even generational trauma, that have been running in the background for a long time. Together, the animal and I identify the energetic blockages, release them at the root, and then anchor positive and empowering learnings in their place. Animals are typically enthusiastic about participating in this work and express significant relief upon the release of these negative emotions. Think of it as clearing out emotional baggage that’s been stored in their bodies.

This isn’t a replacement for veterinary care or professional training, but it addresses the energetic layer that conventional care doesn’t reach, and many people find that their animals respond and heal more quickly when energy work is used in tandem with traditional training and treatments.

If you’ve ever felt like something’s going on with your animal that nobody can quite put their finger on, this is often where we find it.

Please note that these are not live sessions. All energy clearing sessions are conducted remotely at a time that works within my schedule. No call or live appointment is required on your end, and you will receive a detailed summary of how the session went and the emotions that we released.

,

What to Expect

Payment is required upon scheduling of a session through Calendly. You will receive a confirmation email with a Google Meet link for the session, as well as instructions for submitting a photo, name, age and gender for each animal that will be participating. This email will also include a link to reschedule, if that becomes necessary, as well as details regarding my cancellation policy.

You will also receive a separate email with a link to the client contract that must be signed prior to the session to ensure a smooth and meaningful experience.

Your animal does not need to be present for any of our communication sessions. I recommend that they be allowed to go about their regular routine, so they will feel relaxed and open for their session. Please remember that their body language during the session is not a reflection of the information that is coming through.

In all sessions, I have a standard short list of questions I ask each pet:

  1. Can you share a bit about your personality with me?
  2. Is there anything you need to be happier or more content?
  3. Do you have any message or advice I can pass on to your human?

Please prepare a few of your own questions for the session, and we will address as many as we can (3-5 is usually a very doable number). After all, this experience is all about increasing your bond and understanding of your relationship with your beloved pet!

I will connect with your animal remotely via a voice recorded session once you have booked your appointment. This session recording will be sent to you via Dropbox at least 24 hours prior to your appointment time. Please listen to the recording and note any follow-up questions you may have that we can address live with your pet during our video call.

You will receive an audio recording of the live video call within 72 hours following your appointment via an email link to Dropbox.

River's Story (cont'd)

We met many interesting people through this co-op, including a woman skilled in equine bodywork who often came across horses in her work that needed to be rehomed. She’d offer to take them, give them additional training, dental care, and vet care and then keep them until she felt she’d found them the perfect forever home. It was one of these horses that became our daughter’s 12th birthday present.

Now, it was my turn. For months I searched far and wide for a horse, but none were quite right. One day, I was sitting in the shade at the co-op with this bodyworker, bemoaning the fact that I hadn’t felt a spark with a single horse after all these months. She said “Well, if you don’t mind putting some miles on one, I have another horse you might like. Want to come by and take a look?”

I stopped by her place a few days later, and we went out to catch the horse in question. I looked into his eyes, stunned, and said “Where did you get this horse?” She said, “A couple years ago, I traded a thoroughbred I had with a client of mine for him.” The client she was referring to was our neighbor with the Mustangs. It was River, the horse I’d known in my heart was mine 6 years ago. And so the love affair began.

Over the next 13 years, River and I built an extraordinary bond of trust and understanding. His uncanny ability to understand me once caused my vet’s tech to comment “I swear this horse understands English!”  River is the reason I began to wonder if there was more going on in human – animal communication than I previously thought. Through this new skill, our relationship grew to a depth I never thought possible. I was able to discuss with him his desires regarding his passing, which was such a comfort during a heart-breaking time. He transitioned peacefully from this earthly plain during a beautiful summer sunset in 2025, at the age of 31, but continues to share his incredible wisdom with me from across the veil.

When I ran “River’s Heart” by him as a potential name for my business, he modestly said “It doesn’t have to have my name in it.” I said that I knew that, but that I wanted to honor his beautiful heart and all that he had taught me. Through my animal communication journey, I discovered that River and I have been through countless lifetimes together. We find each other in each one.
